Smarter Fishing Starts With Better Weather Data
Built by anglers, for anglers. The difference between a good fishing day and a great one often comes down to barometric pressure — and no one tracks it better than us.
Barometric Pressure Analysis
Our 72-hour pressure trend chart highlights the best fishing windows — when pressure is stable or slowly falling.
Comprehensive Weather
Temperature, wind, UV index, precipitation, cloud cover, and visibility — all tailored for fishing conditions.
Tides & Solunar Data
Tide times, height charts, moon phases, and Solunar major/minor feeding periods in one place.
Why Barometric Pressure Matters
Fish have lateral line organs that are highly sensitive to pressure changes. When barometric pressure is stable (between 29.80" and 30.20" inHg) or slowly falling, fish tend to feed more actively.
Most weather apps show pressure as a single number — that's almost useless. What matters is the trend: is pressure rising, falling, or stable? And over what timeframe?
HookCast's 72-hour pressure chart gives you the full picture with highlighted best-fishing windows so you can plan with confidence.
